We often create pain in our lives due to our expectations and resistance to 'what is.' Sadly, the ideas we have about how things should be, only exist in our heads. If you want to experience less pain in your life, you will need to stop expecting the world to turn out the way you tell yourself it should be. When shit happens as it often does, accepting that not everything will go as expected and surrendering the need to know the why of things is a quick way to remove the frustration and disappointment in your life.
We don’t have to know the why of everything that happens. Sometimes things just are. You don't have to like everything that happens, but I find that accepting what is and keeping an attitude of gratitude for all that happens, helps alleviate our grief. Trust that the Universe always has your back and things will work out for your ultimate wellbeing.
